Tristan Winen
Director
A seasoned WHS specialist with over two decades of experience, Tristan developed WLSS to address the critical WHS / OHS challenges that face businesses across various sectors, including construction, project management, logistics, hospitality, and entertainment. A hands-on Director, he is a safety auditing specialist working with government agencies, businesses, and industry associations.
Tristan is also certified as a Generalist OHS Practitioner by the Australian Institute of Health and Safety, and a SafeWork SA-approved WHS Consultant. His extensive industry involvement, including roles with the Fire Protection Association Australia, Master Plumbers Association of Australia, NSCA Foundation, and Business SA, makes him the go-to advisor for practical WHS solutions to achieve cost-effective compliance with confidence.
Tristan is a down-to-earth leader who believes in open communication and support. He heads our team of expert Advisors, Trainers, Technicians, and Customer Service Specialists to help our clients not just meet safety standards but turn them into a competitive advantage.
Off-hours, you can find Tristan living life to the fullest. With a passion for motorcycles and paintball, he’s equally at home conquering winding roads or strategising on the paintball field.
Laura Winen
Business Manager
Laura is a key driver of WLSS’s high-quality WHS / OHS services. Her expertise in safety compliance and management systems, backed by qualifications in WHS / OHS assessment and auditing, contributes significantly to the company’s success.
With a strong background in multinational organisations, Laura oversees WLSS operations and leads major projects, including dry-docking operations and various state and local government contracts.
Like Tristan, Laura has developed strong relationships with clients, working with an open and supportive style that empowers both our partners and the whole WLSS team.
On weekends, you will find Laura and her energetic dogs conquering the local park trails.
